HUBSPOT SERVICE HUB - SUBMITTING A TICKET ON BEHALF OF A HOMEOWNER

JOB FUNCTIONS Warranty Administrator
SUMMARY This test is to confirm that warranty team members can submit tickets on behalf of the customer and link that ticket to the customer account.
PRE-CONDITIONS
  • The tester has login access to https://app.hubspot.com/
  • The tester has the right user permissions set up
ASSUMPTIONS
  • Homeowner information is correct
  • NSE -> HubSpot integration is operational

 

TEST CASE STEPS:

  1. Log into HubSpot as a Warranty Team Member
  2. Navigate to the contact you want to create a ticket for.
  3. Go to all properties and keep this page open.
  4. Navigate to tickets in another tab (CRM -> Tickets)
  5. Press Create Ticket (top right):
    • Follow prompts to create the ticket.
    • Choose the homeowner contact in the Associate ticket with box.
    • Submit the Ticket.
  6. Copy the alt job ID from the BuildPro Property Address into Property Address (format: 00010054_90050) and Homeowner ID field onto the ticket.
  7. Open the ticket and confirm that it is populated with data correctly
  8. Assign the ticket to a warranty technician
  9. Warranty technician to confirm notification in HubSpot

EXPECTED RESULTS:

  1. Tester can create ticket on behalf of homeowner
  2. Homeowner receives ticket submission details
